On Saturday, November 14th Volusia PeaceCenter invites all individuals committed to Peace to walk in solidarity in our fifth “Walk for Peace” New Smyrna Beach, FL

All proceeds will benefit our local Food Banks as they prepare for the holidays. Halifax Urban Ministries and Gifts of Love will receive our support. Please bring a canned food item with you the morning of the walk to go to the food pantry also.
Where: This 3.1 mile walk will begin and end at The United Church of Christ,
203 Washington Street, New Smyrna Beach, FL. Walking across the North Causeway, we will turn around at Coronado Community United Methodist.
When: Sign in at 8:30 am, you will turn in your Sponsorship Forms, all monies will be collected and you will receive your T-shirt. Walk will begin at 9 am. Light refreshments before the walk and water/restrooms available at both churches.
First: Please mail this registration form below along with your $15 donation for Adults/$10 for Youth to the address below by Nov 10th. You can still register and participate up to the day of the event, just bring this and show up on Saturday morning!
Second: Ask friends, family, neighbors, teachers, and co-workers to pledge their support for you by filling out their information on the Sponsorship Form. Collect payment for their sponsorship at this time. It can be a check or cash. All donations are tax deductible and you can be provided with receipts on the day of the event to return to your sponsors if they request it. All checks should be payable to The United Church of Christ. They can sponsor you for any amount! This sponsorship will go directly to the food banks.
Third: Show up and Walk! Wear your walking shoes and sunscreen. See you there!

By signing this agreement, I hereby for myself, my child, my heirs and administrators, assume any and all risks which might be associated with the walk. I waive and release any and all rights and claims against the organizer and any others connected with this event. I attest that I am sufficiently physically fit to participate in this walk.
